If a BIG Phone call is still active after you leave the call screen, return through BIG Launcher: tap Phone, then tap Active phone call. If that item is missing, enable Show Active call button in BIG Launcher → Preferences → Phone.
The named item brings back the BIG Phone controls so you can change audio, mute, or end the ongoing conversation without searching through recent screens.
Show the Active phone call item
- On the BIG Launcher home screen, tap the three dots ⋮ next to the clock.
- Open Preferences → Phone and enable Show Active call button.
- During a BIG Phone call, return to BIG Launcher or open another app without ending the call.
- Return to BIG Launcher, tap Phone, and choose Active phone call, normally the first item in the Phone menu.
If BIG Launcher is not visible, pull down the Android notification drawer and tap the phone-call notification. Android recent apps can also show the active BIG Phone preview. These choices reopen an ongoing call; they cannot reconnect a call that has already dropped or ended.
Check the return path once
- Start a short call with a known willing contact.
- Leave BIG Phone without ending the call, return to BIG Launcher, and tap Phone → Active phone call.
- Confirm that the same call is open, then end it intentionally.
