Add a second look before a BIG Launcher contact call by leaving its confirmation dialogue enabled. You can simplify that dialogue to a single Call choice, but keep both no-menu settings off when you want to check the call before it starts.
The confirmation applies to BIG Launcher contact buttons and BIG Phone’s dialler. It does not control calls started in WhatsApp, another calling app, or every Android calling action.
Keep confirmation on contact buttons
- On the BIG Launcher home screen, tap ⋮ → Set buttons, tap the button you want to edit, and choose Direct call/SMS.
- Select the contact and exact phone number. If the contact has several numbers, check the selected number before saving.
- For a call-only dialogue, open BIG Launcher → Preferences → Contacts and set Show message option in call dialogue to No. The Call confirmation remains.
- In the same Preferences → Contacts section, leave No menu when calling the contact disabled. Enabling it makes the contact button dial immediately.
The current BIG Launcher listing gives the free version customisable buttons in the right column; the full version lets you customise all buttons. Check that limitation while choosing the button, not after the layout is finished.
Keep the dialler confirmation separately
No menu in the dialler is a different setting, but it is in the same place: BIG Launcher → Preferences → Contacts. It applies to numbers entered through BIG Phone → Dial Number. Leave it disabled if you want BIG Phone to show its call choice after keypad dialling; enabling it starts the call without that extra dialogue.
Check both confirmation settings
- Use a known willing contact, tap the direct contact button, check the displayed name and number, and tap Cancel at the confirmation.
- If you chose a call-only dialogue, confirm that Call is shown without Send message.
- Open BIG Phone → Dial Number, enter the number of that willing contact, tap the green call button, and confirm the dialler still offers its choice before you tap Cancel.

Try BIG Launcher’s large contact buttons and keep the confirmation that lets you check the person and number before the call starts.
